Progress across iron and gold projects as we move into H2 2025
We’re now just past the halfway point of 2025, and Tempest Minerals has maintained strong momentum across its exploration portfolio. Over the past few months, we’ve achieved key technical milestones at our flagship Remorse iron discovery, expanded gold potential at Sanity, and secured investor support to fund our next steps.
Here’s a look at recent highlights—and a preview of what’s next.
Remorse Iron Discovery: Resource, Metallurgy and Upside Building
Tempest’s Remorse deposit, part of the Yalgoo Project, continues to show strong development potential through a steady stream of technical results:
- May 8 – We announced our inaugural JORC Inferred Mineral Resource of 63.5Mt @ 30.6% Fe, based on limited drilling. This marked a critical step in transitioning from discovery to resource definition.

- May 12 – Metallurgical testwork began with results from Composite #1 delivering 68.8% Fe in concentrate, with low impurities and strong recovery—early confirmation of processing potential.

- June 16 – Final results from the full metallurgical testwork campaign confirmed iron concentrate grades of up to 70% Fe, reinforcing the deposit’s suitability for development.

With robust grades, low contaminants, and early testwork success, Remorse is shaping up as a standout magnetite opportunity in the region. Planning is underway for further drilling and internal development studies.
Sanity Gold Anomaly Continues to Grow
TEM commenced fieldwork at the Range Project in Mt Magnet with a number promising gold drill targets emerging.
Recent geochemical sampling at the Sanity target has improved resolution and expanded the anomaly, confirming it as a drill-worthy gold prospect within the broader Yalgoo Project.
Highlights include:
- Soil samples up to 294ppb gold
- Rock chips up to 7g/t gold
- Strong alignment with regional geophysical trends
Managing Director Don Smith said regarding the resource estimation:
“This is an excellent outcome. We have gone from discovery to resource in a few short months – and this is based on a relatively small number of drillholes. We have metallurgical and other studies well advances and we’ve already identified potential processing options and signed an MOU with GreenSteel and Iron. This gives us confidence that we can progress from being an explorer to a developer as well.”

Shareholder Support Backs Growth Strategy
We recently completed a 1-for-2 Entitlement Offer, raising $1.47 million to fund continued exploration and development across our project base. We’re pleased to report strong participation from existing shareholders, and we sincerely thank all who took part.
This capital raise coincided with our June 2025 investor presentation, where we outlined our near-term objectives and long-term strategy across iron and gold.
