Tempest Eyes Remorse’s Future Development Potential

Tempest Minerals (ASX:TEM) continues to progress its Remorse iron discovery at the Yalgoo Project in Western Australia, with fresh Davis Tube Recovery (DTR) results confirming iron concentrate grades of up to 70% Fe along with low impurity levels—reinforcing the site’s potential as an “exceptional” development prospect.

These supplemental metallurgical results build on earlier tests (up to 68.8% Fe) and validate the deposit’s strong beneficiation characteristics, supporting its feasibility for large-scale iron production  Mining. Recognising these robust findings, Tempest is moving ahead with internal development studies, infill drilling, and comprehensive geotechnical and metallurgical assessments, which are crucial steps toward confirming the mineral resource and advancing the project’s technical groundwork .

Notably, the Remorse deposit was initially discovered in 2024 and lies on the eastern flank of Tempest’s extensive Yalgoo tenement package, which also includes the promising Mount Magnet, Five Wheels, and Elephant projects. This expanding portfolio underscores the company’s strategy of diversifying across iron, copper, gold, and base metals, reinforcing its position among proficient mineral exploration companies in Western Australia.
