Tempest Minerals (ASX:TEM) has achieved a significant milestone by releasing its inaugural inferred resource estimate for the Remorse Magnetite Iron Deposit, part of the Yalgoo Project in Western Australia. The JORC‑compliant estimate comprises 63.5 million tonnes at 30.6% Fe, based on initial drilling results—providing a strong platform for future development studies and potential open‑pit mining operations.
Managing Director Don Smith emphasised the rapid progress from discovery to resource in just a few short months, highlighting that metallurgical and processing studies are already advancing alongside a signed MoU with GreenSteel & Iron, reinforcing the company’s evolution from explorer to developer.
