Expanding Horizons at the Remorse Target: Tempest Minerals’ Latest Exploration Success

Tempest Minerals continues to build momentum at the Remorse Target within the Yalgoo Project in Western Australia, with recent soil sampling results that have significantly expanded the copper and zinc footprint in the southern region of this compelling exploration site. This latest success further solidifies Remorse as a high-potential target within Tempest’s extensive portfolio.

Strengthening the Anomaly

The recently completed sampling program targeted a previously incomplete block, revealing copper and zinc concentrations consistent with earlier findings. The results have confirmed a coherent anomaly stretching approximately 5 x 1.5 kilometres, underscoring the area’s mineral potential. Within this zone, soil samples consistently recorded assay values above 60 ppm copper and 70 ppm zinc, with peaks reaching 167 ppm copper and 125 ppm zinc.

On the Eve of a Major Drilling Campaign

These promising results come at a critical time as Tempest prepares to commence a 5,000-meter RC drilling program. Earthworks for the drilling are complete, with operations set to begin imminently upon the arrival of the contracted drill rig. This campaign marks a significant step forward in Tempest’s exploration efforts at Remorse, with the aim of uncovering the full extent of the mineralisation in the area.

Update on the Five Wheels Project

As mentioned in the June Quarterly Report, Tempest Minerals also made significant progress at the Five Wheels Project, a 266 km² area of granted tenure in the Earaheedy region of Western Australia. This project is located near high-profile discoveries by Rumble Resources Ltd (ASX) and shares similar geological characteristics with Rumble’s Chinook deposit and Strickland Metals Ltd’s zinc-lead-copper discoveries.

During the quarter, Tempest announced the completion of a heritage agreement and a collaborative exploration strategy for Five Wheels. Additionally, the company secured approval for an Exploration Incentive Scheme grant from the Western Australian Government, which will contribute to completing an Airborne Gravity Gradiometry (AGG) geophysical survey at the project. This exploration is set to reveal further insights into the potential mineralization of the area.

Gold News: Gold-A-Baromater of Uncertainty

In 2024, amidst global tensions and economic uncertainties, gold has reached record highs, affirming its role as a safe haven. In this @mining.com.au article, Tempest Minerals’ MD Don Smith noted: “It’s not surprising given the potential for war and economic threats.” As we move into Q3, gold remains a steadfast asset in turbulent times.
