Tempest Minerals continues exploration at Yalgoo region projects targeting copper, gold and REEs

Tempest Minerals Ltd (ASX:TEM) is forging ahead with exploration activities at the Yalgoo region projects, which range across a substantial landholding of 1,000 square kilometres in a highly prospective polymetallic belt.

Previous drilling has already demonstrated promising mineralisation potential for copper, gold and rare earths with Tempest engaged in further analysis and planning for multiple exploration fronts, including surface geochemistry, regional geophysics and drilling.

Managing director Don Smith said: “The Tempest team is excited to build upon our hard work to date.

“The high-quality data we generated in our work to date has laid the foundational understanding for us to reprioritise new and existing targets for focused exploration campaigns.”

The Yalgoo region plays a significant role in Tempest Minerals’ exploration and project development efforts. The region consists of four project areas — Messenger, Meleya, War West and Euro — that overlap geologically.
