Exciting Developments at TEM’s Yalgoo and Five Wheels Projects

Tempest Minerals Ltd (ASX: TEM) continues to make significant strides across its portfolio, with key updates on the Yalgoo and Five Wheels Projects in Western Australia. Below is the latest on these high-potential projects.

Drilling Begins at the Remorse Copper Target – Yalgoo Project

Tempest has commenced drilling operations at its highly prospective Remorse Copper Target within the expansive Yalgoo Project. The Remorse Target has garnered attention due to its promising geophysical and geochemical survey results, and this next phase of exploration seeks to further uncover its potential.

Don Smith, Managing Director of Tempest Minerals, remarked:

“Despite some challenges, we’ve commenced drilling at Remorse. Our methodical approach to exploration has led us to this point, and we are excited to be testing the potential of this promising copper target. We look forward to updating shareholders as results become available.”

The current drilling program, consisting of approximately 5,000 metres of reverse circulation (RC) drilling, focuses on testing the central area of the Remorse Target. This forms part of the broader Yalgoo Project, which spans over 1,000 square kilometres of terrain rich in base and precious metals. With several years of exploration groundwork, including detailed geological mapping and multi-data analysis, Tempest is poised to make further advancements.

Fieldwork Commences at the Five Wheels Project

In addition to its activities at Yalgoo, Tempest has initiated a comprehensive fieldwork program at the Five Wheels Project, situated approximately 150km north of Wiluna. This area shares similar geological characteristics with the nearby Rumble Resources Earaheedy Zinc Discovery, positioning the project in a highly prospective region.

The fieldwork at Five Wheels includes:

– Collaborative efforts with Traditional Owners to ensure cultural awareness during exploration

– A wide-spaced geochemical sampling program across the granted tenure

– Geological mapping aimed at identifying further exploration targets.

The field campaign is expected to be completed soon, with geochemical results anticipated by Q4 2024. Tempest is also planning a geophysical survey in 2025, pending equipment availability.
