Tempest Minerals (ASX:TEM) has released its first metallurgical test results from the Remorse Magnetite Deposit at the Yalgoo Project, demonstrating the ore’s ability to yield high-quality iron concentrate with exceptionally low levels of impurities. The initial Davis Tube Recovery (DTR) test delivered an Fe concentrate of 69.6% Fe, validating the project’s potential as a future premium magnetite producer.

According to the accompanying commentary, this result is in line with global premium magnetite feedstock standards and significantly derisks early processing assumptions for the Remorse system.
The low deleterious content makes this orebody particularly attractive for ESG-aligned green steel initiatives — an area where Tempest continues to build strategic alignment.
