Tempest Minerals (ASX:TEM) is advancing its iron exploration campaign at the Yalgoo Project after recent fieldwork at the Halo target revealed multiple iron formation units stretching over 5 km north of Remorse—an encouraging sign of scale beyond its established resource base.
Outcrop mapping identified at least five distinct iron formation units, while rock chip sampling has confirmed historic grades up to 62% Fe. Tempest is now refining its geological model by integrating this new data with previous exploration findings, and is poised to continue its work with further mapping and geochemistry programs—all designed to identify high-quality drill targets in the near future.
Positioned just 5 km west of the Remorse deposit—itself an emerging iron asset with an inferred estimate of 63.5 Mt @ 30.6% Fe and a broader exploration target up to 100 Mt @ 32% Fe—Halo underscores Tempest’s potential to establish a multi-asset iron portfolio within the Yalgoo region.
