Sanity Gold Anomaly Expands with High-Resolution Sampling at Yalgoo Project

Tempest Minerals (ASX:TEM) has announced new geochemical results from its ongoing surface sampling program at the Sanity Target, part of the company’s flagship Yalgoo Project in Western Australia. The program has tightened sampling density to 100m x 100m, revealing a clearer and more coherent gold anomaly footprint—bolstering the site’s potential as a future drilling candidate.

Key Highlights:

  • Surface sampling returned soil results up to 294ppb gold, indicating strong near-surface mineralisation

  • Confirmed correlation between gold, silver, and geophysical anomalies, suggesting a large-scale system

  • Historic rock chips nearby include assays up to 7g/t gold, 0.2% copper, and over 60% iron

  • Elevated nickel readings in ultramafic rocks support the presence of a complex polymetallic system

  • Work is now advancing toward initial drill program approvals and geological modelling

Figure 2 (page 2) presents a high-resolution map of the gold anomaly, which aligns closely with magnetic features—pointing to structurally controlled mineralisation.

According to Managing Director Don Smith, “These results confirm what we’ve believed about Sanity since day one—this is a target with real scale, right beside a known gold system.”
