Tempest Minerals Achieves Maiden Resource, Expands Targets & Secures Funding

Tempest Minerals (ASX:TEM) delivered a standout performance in the June 2025 quarter, marking significant progress across its gold and iron projects in Western Australia. The company unveiled its maiden JORC-compliant resource estimate for the Remorse Iron Deposit—63.5 Mt at 30.6% Fe—solidifying its pathway from exploration to development.

At the Yalgoo Project, geochemical surveys at the Sanity gold target confirm a coherent gold anomaly, highlighted by soil samples of up to 294 ppb Au, reinforcing the region’s gold potential.

Meanwhile, Tempest is gearing up for its first-ever drilling campaign at the Mt Magnet Range Project, with about 1,500 m of reverse-circulation (RC) drilling planned. Targets are based on newly identified structural zones and interpreted rock formations.

Moreover, the company has pinpointed a significant new iron target at the Halo prospect, situated approximately 5 km from Remorse, enriching its exploration footprint with high-priority infrastructure-led leverage.

To support these initiatives, Tempest raised AUD 0.4 million via private placement, and a further AUD 1.47 million through an entitlement issue—providing solid capital backing for drilling, resource growth, and technical studies.
