Tempest Minerals (ASX:TEM) has released promising new metallurgical testing results from its Remorse iron discovery, part of the company’s flagship Yalgoo Project in Western Australia. Recent Davis Tube Recovery (DTR) assays confirmed iron concentrate grades up to 70% Fe, accompanied by consistently low levels of impurities, reinforcing the quality and scalability of the deposit.
These results validate earlier drilling data and highlight the magnetite-rich system’s strong beneficiation characteristics. The high-grade concentrate aligns well with emerging green steel initiatives, supporting the project’s long-term ESG credentials. Tempest has now initiated planning for internal development studies, infill drilling, and advanced geotechnical and metallurgical assessments, signalling clear intent to accelerate project development across the Yalgoo corridor.
